There are several requirements you need to meet in order to be a surrogate mother in our program.

You meet the requirements to be a surrogate mother, if you:

  • You are a woman between the ages of 23 and 40.
  • You have delivered and currently raising or have raised at least one child.
  • You have had no more than five pregnancies and no pregnancy complications.
  • You have not had more than two C-sections.
  • You have had no deliveries prior to 35 weeks (unless they were twins or more).
  • You have a supportive partner, friend, or family member.
  • You are not receiving any kind of government assistance (including WIC, food stamps, housing, and insurance assistance).
  • You (and your partner) are able to pass our thorough criminal background check.
  • You have been a non-tobacco user for at least 2 years and live in a smoke-free house (you will be tested).
  • You and your spouse have no current or previous history of substance abuse.
  • You are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  • You meet the height and weight guidelines for your body mass index (BMI).
  • You have no history of any mental health illnesses or taking any medications (anxiety, depression, bi-polar, post-partum depression)
  • You (and your partner) agree to psychological evaluation and medical testing.
